This morning, we were able to catch a glimpse of river merchants. These people have a series of goods onboard which they try to sell to other people. We learned some of these merchants will stay on their boats for days until all of their goods are sold. Many of these boats contain a small living quarters; sometimes you can even see people hanging their laundry to airdry from the deck.
