This evening, we went to the beautiful Saigon Opera House. Both the interior and exterior of the building show evident influence from French style architecture. The performance we seen was called “The Mist” which presented lives of rural farmers in Vietnam. The story featured two lovers who, through elaborate dance and music, portrayed their affection during their working hours in the rice fields and also at home. This was a very energetic performance, with the significance of the show open to the viewer due to an overall absence of lines. The price of the ticket is equivalent to $46.20 USD.
